    You are returning to my site on a regular basis. Hope you are finding lots of good tips and advice.

    Yes its a pretty well established fact that the money is in the list.

    Regarding your list of 20,000.

    I don’t do email marketing so much now because it does take an awful lot of names to make it worthwhile.

    I used to have quarter of a million names on my list and even with that amount I didn’t make a great deal of money with it.

    I reckon email marketing is for the big boys because they can afford to spend the big bucks and usually have financial backers to supply the funds.

    But if you’re happy with a few dollars here and there then by all means keep at it.

    But if the returns are not worthwhile and take too much effort then I would opt for a better way to earn an income from the internet.

  2. Very difficult form of marketing to be successful with – the length of your list is absolutely everything here. I have a sub list of just under 20,000 email addresses and it hard…even with that amount. You are looking at about a 2% success rate so you need to get addresses and get them fast! Think of it this way – only 2 readers out of 100 sent mails will click the link in your email (yikes!!!!)
